Airport Chatter

It feels like only yesterday when Airport Chatter was just a concept on a piece of paper, it’s only been a couple months and yet we feel like we are off to a great start. Today marks an important day for Airport Chatter, early this morning we launched Version 1.0!

Airport Chatter was born out of the frustration with airports, traveling often or not, airports always seem to be a hassle for most people. After much research and surveying we discovered that the underlying reason for this ‘hassle’ is because airports come in all shapes and sizes and are almost like a maze to find the place or service that you are looking for.

We looked at the core pieces that make up an airport, the terminals, airlines, eateries, shops, services, lounges, ground transportation, parking and hotels. If you think about it, the average airport has 3 terminals, 18 airlines, 40 eateries, 30 shops, 25 services, 3 lounges, public transportation, taxis, limos, shuttles, long term parking, short term parking and an array of hotels nearby. That’s a lot of research for travelers to do every time they fly, so we thought what if there was a way to provide you with the information you are looking for at a click of a button? Then and there Airport Chatter was born with the slogan ‘know before you go’.

As we started working on Version 1.0 we asked around; what are the most important foundational features that will provide the optimal utility at the ground level? The answers we got we’re simple, at the foundation travelers want information to help make their trip through the airport easier. We decided to launch Version 1.0 as a central community platform covering 52 of the busiest airport in the USA. We worked very hard to gather a tremendous amount of data so that we can profile every eatery, shop, service and lounge in every airport that we feature, we have over 6,000 venues on Airport Chatter. We’ve designed Airport Chatter in way that allows you discover all types of venues from coffee shops to apparel stores. Every venue has a detailed navigation display along with ratings and reviews, of course as early adopters we hope that everyone in the community will participate by sharing their tips and tricks and by reviewing their favourite or least favourite airports, terminals and venues!

As we open our doors to millions of travelers we know that this is just the beginning for Airport Chatter, it’s a start of a better airport experience. Lets fly to new levels together and make airports a more enjoyable place!

To better airports!

Airport transportation is very important for a city if a lot of tourists visiting each year. How it starts it goes that way. Bad. than goes bad. So, first impression important and also airports location and design is very important. As a San Diego based company we got a lot of problems because of the airport’s location and design. Now there is a construction going on and drivers do not want to pick a customer up at the airport. It’s just pain in the neck.
