If you have ever been to LaGuardia you will know that it’s one of the worst airports in the USA, based on the decor, concessions and general look/feel. In fact LaGuardia was rated the worst major airport in the USA by JD Powers and Associates and Zagat. It’s all about to change thanks to Delta Air Lines. A couple months ago Delta announced a major expansion in La Gaurdia, an expansion that brings 264 daily flights between LaGuardia and over 60 cities, Delta will be dominating LaGuardia by far. With the large flight operations expansion, Delta has announced recently that they will be expanding into Terminal C, they already operate out of Terminal A, C and D. It seems like Terminal C will have a large Delta presence because Delta has contracted OTG Management to bring a whole new restaurant style to Terminal C. In fact when all of the work is complete, Terminal C will have one of the largest celebrity chef concept restaurants in one terminal. The celebrity chef concept restaurants brings modern design along with innovative retail concessions, with all said and done Terminal C will bring some needed ‘coolness’ to LaGuardia.
